Genshin Impact Pre-Update Pre-Installation

Heh heh, this round the devs are testing the functionality of  Pre-Installation. 

Which is the right thing to do cuz it is possible and it makes things faster. Its actually separates the download with the install. Just like how you do with Windows Update and mobile app updates.

Patch 1.2 New Info

Also, dev releases a bunch of new info on patch 1.2. Go and read LOL.

1. Patch update on 23rd.
2. Consecutively, Chalk Prince's Story Quest will be released, total of 4 Acts, release one per 3 days starting day 1 of patch.
3. AR20 minimum to play the story quest.
4. The red crystals (rime crystals) are event only.
5. Weapon boosts and other boosts are also event only, and limited to Dragonspine area.
6. And Matt did a good job of predicting Benetto on the Wish Boost list
7. After the event ends, Chalk Prince Story Quests needs AR40 to unlock, and needs a story key.

They added a "New Reputation Quest Available" ah, ok some ppl need that I guess.

The new small update dialog. After the small update, the Launcher became enlarged 1.5x. LOL ok, very much needed. yeah.

Genshin Artifact Colours

 

Well only after I went to Adventure Rank 30 (?) I realised artifacts had colours!! Maybe it is part of the 1.1 updates?

Green artifacts, white artifacts, blue artifacts. Then later on, even the other level-up items had these colours too!

Artifact Colours / Colors

Colours represent their rarities, just like characters and weapons. If you see their background colour, they are actually all colour coded. Artifact rarities have level caps, means you can’t enhance them past a certain level; also means they maxed out at a lower level.

1-star (white) and 2-star (green) – Caps at level 4.

3-star (blue) – Caps at level 12.

4-star (purple) – Caps at level 16.

5-star (orange) – Caps at level 20.

Rarer artifacts gives higher stats, for example, a 3 star flower gives u 430 HP, but a 4 star flower always gives a base of 625 HP.

Oh yeah I got this! But wasn't intentional although my aim is to crit as high as possible.

I was using Xiangling's Guoba (22% CRIT rate 50% CRIT DMG) and Razor's Skill.
